When the Moon is in the Seventh House

What do you suppose Kim and Cindy are looking at?

There probably aren't more than a handful of you who remember where the title line for this post came from but I thought it was appropriate even though I'm not exactly sure where the seventh house is and Jupiter is, according to the song, supposed to align with Mars not Venus.

OK, it's kinda hard to tell since, as you know, night photography is not my camera's strongest feature. This was the moon, Venus and Jupiter all together in the southern sky last night while we were doing the track workout.

At any rate it was very cool to look at while we were waiting to start the warmup.

FIFTEEN runners showed up for Monday night track. If you weren't there (and you know who you are) you missed a fun, big group. You can make out the moon and one of the planets (I'm not sure which. Do I look like an astronomer?) at top center of the photo.

The totally random track workout that Kristy pulled out of the magic workout hat was 4x800 with 3-4 minutes rest in between. I had the magic pace chart with me so the participants could see what their *suggested* paces for the 800's might be.

Apparently everyone had excuses not to go to dinner last night so after a cooldown jog lap and a walk lap we all called it a night.

Join us next Monday night at 6 PM when we gather on the track behind Eldorado High School and pull another completely random, fun track workout out of the magic workout hat.
