Check out the motley crew that showed up for our first Winter Track of the season at Eldorado High School Monday Night. We had a PERFECT night for a track workout. Just a light breeze coming off the mountains and temperatures in the 60's. The Eldorado High School marching band's drum section provided entertainment for me as I stood by the bleachers (have I mentioned that I can't run, swim or bike due to a broken collarbone?) and encouraged the group while they did their workout. It sure looked like they were having fun.
In attendance were Lori, Diane, Steve, Brigitte, Ron, Nancy (behind Ron), Kim J, and Deana the 4 hour marathoner.
After the usual warmup:
Deana pulled a completely random workout out of the hat and the evening's participants were happily off doing 400/200 jog, 800/400 jog, 800/400 jog, 400/200 jog followed by the usual cooldown.
After the workout most of us (some people had the usual long list of lame excuses why they couldn't join us for dinner) went across Montgomery to Il Vicino where Kim N. met us for dinner.
At dinner Steve told one of his always funny (but this one was almost tasteful) jokes and we planned race strategy for Lori at San Antonio.
Here's the group enjoying dinner at Il Vicino

So join us next week at Eldorado High School on Monday Night at 6:00PM for another fun filled track session.
